Burlesque (Mizrahi x SPR Music By Starlight)

As of March 19th, we have brought two beautiful fillies into the world this spring. Our first filly was born on February 29th, Leap Day, and quite literally hit the ground running! A perfect delivery, and as healthy a baby as you could hope for, we are excited to see what the future holds for SFS Shimmy Shake! “Shimmy” is by EKL Shakedown CH and out of Burlesque. Burlesque is by Mizrahi and out of the famous producer, SPR Music By Starlight (dam of the 2023 World Champion Stallion, RWF Gettysburg). This is the second time we have crossed Burlesque on Shakedown; her 2023 colt, Beam Me Up, sold as a weanling to a customer out at Indian Creek Farm and we are told he continues to be an impressive individual.

Ultras Special Intention GCH (Ultras Special Agent x Ultras Miss Isabelle)

Our second foal of the season came to us on St. Patrick’s Day. A bay filly with a giant star, this pretty girl is also by
EKL Shakedown CH and out of Ultra’s Special Intention GCH, making her a full sister to Lory Kielceski’s 2023 filly we love, SFS Starina. We chose to celebrate this filly’s fun birthday with a St. Patty’s themed name – SFS Shamrock Shake! With tremendously successful Park horses on both sides of her pedigree, we have
high hopes for “Charm.”

Thank you to our breeding manager, Cat Hester, who sacrifices sleep for several nights on end and devotes her whole heart to making sure these mares and foals have the best chance to be healthy, happy contributors to the Scottfield Stud program!
